1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the website clearpathveterans.com.au, operated by Clear Path Veterans Pty Ltd (ABN 78 690 447 879). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

2. About our services

Clear Path Veterans provides veteran advocacy services, including assistance with DVA compensation claims under the MRCA, DRCA, and VEA, CSC and ComSuper invalidity applications, and appeals to the Veterans' Review Board and Administrative Review Tribunal.

We are advocates, not lawyers. We do not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. The information on our website is general in nature and does not take into account your individual circumstances. You should seek independent legal, financial, or medical advice where appropriate.

Our advocacy services are provided under separate client agreements. These website terms do not form part of any client service agreement.

3. Fees

Our advocacy services operate on a contingency basis. This means fees are payable as a percentage of the successful outcome of your claim. The specific fee percentage, payment terms, and what constitutes a successful outcome are set out in your individual client agreement before any work begins. No fees are charged unless your claim is successful.

4. No guarantee of outcome

While we work to achieve the best possible outcome for every client, we cannot and do not guarantee any particular result. DVA claim outcomes, CSC invalidity classifications, and appeal decisions are determined by government bodies and tribunals outside our control. Past results do not guarantee future outcomes.

5. Website content

The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as legal, financial, or medical advice.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free from error. DVA legislation, Statements of Principles, policy, and payment rates change regularly. Always confirm current information with DVA or a qualified professional.

The permanent impairment calculator on our website provides estimates only. Actual compensation amounts depend on your individual circumstances, including your specific impairment ratings, service classification, age, dependants, and other factors assessed by DVA. Calculator results should not be relied upon as a guarantee of any particular payment.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, graphics, and the design and layout of the site, is owned by or licensed to Clear Path Veterans Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content from this website for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any content from this website without our prior written consent.

7. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including DVA, the Repatriation Medical Authority, CSC, and other government or service provider sites. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. A link to a third-party website does not constitute an endorsement by us.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clear Path Veterans Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense (whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise) arising from or in connection with:

  • any error, omission, or inaccuracy in website content
  • any interruption, delay, or failure of the website

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Clear Path Veterans Pty Ltd, its directors, employees, and contractors from any claim, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of our website.
