What it is
An adjustable bed base that raises the head or legs, commonly prescribed for back, spinal, respiratory or circulation conditions where lying flat is uncomfortable or unsafe.
Who's eligible
You have an accepted condition, commonly a spinal or musculoskeletal condition, where an OT or GP assessment confirms clinical need.
How to get it
- 1
Ask your GP, specialist or occupational therapist for an assessment against your accepted conditions.

They submit the request to DVA through the RAP process.
- 3
A contracted supplier delivers and sets up the item once approved.
