What it is
A powered lift and recline chair that helps you sit down and stand up safely, commonly prescribed for hip, knee, back or cardiovascular conditions that make standing from a normal chair difficult.
Who's eligible
You have an accepted condition affecting mobility or strength, and an OT or GP confirms the clinical need.
How to get it

Get an OT or GP assessment against your accepted conditions.

They submit the RAP request. A contracted supplier delivers the chair once approved.
