Lift and recliner chair

What it is

A powered lift and recline chair that helps you sit down and stand up safely, commonly prescribed for hip, knee, back or cardiovascular conditions that make standing from a normal chair difficult.

Who's eligible

  • You have an accepted condition affecting mobility or strength, and an OT or GP confirms the clinical need.

How to get it

  1. 1

    Get an OT or GP assessment against your accepted conditions.

  2. 2

    They submit the RAP request. A contracted supplier delivers the chair once approved.
