What it is

Grab rails and minor bathroom modifications that reduce fall risk, commonly prescribed for veterans with balance, strength, or mobility limitations.

Who's eligible

  • You have an accepted condition affecting balance or mobility, and an OT home assessment identifies fall risk.

How to get it

  1. 1

    Request an OT home safety assessment through your GP or case manager.

  2. 2

    The OT submits the RAP request with specific modifications. A contracted provider installs them once approved.
