What it is
Help preparing meals when your accepted conditions make cooking difficult, painful, or unsafe. This can include prepared meal delivery or in-home meal preparation support.
Who's eligible
You have an accepted condition that limits standing, mobility, grip, concentration, or stamina enough to affect cooking safely.
How to get it

Raise it with your GP or case manager as part of a household services assessment, it is usually assessed alongside cleaning and gardening rather than as a separate claim.

Once approved, DVA arranges the service or reimburses an approved provider.
